i'M LOving it

Before I bought my Z730M, I was researching every type of zero turn that was out there. I wanted a heavy duty zero turn but did not like the prices of the base commercial and most of the “so called” heavy duty ones, were not truly heavy duty. After much searching, I decided to check out John Deere one last time and came across the Z700 series and was amazed at what I found. I was amazed by the features they offer for the price and thought I have found the one and picked Z730M. I am now over 50 hrs with my Z730M and just in love with this equipment. It does everything that I could ask from a zero turn. After having a few different ones and spending hours on them, you learn what you like and do not like; also what things you would change. I love knowing that I can cut through thick stuff and don't have to worry about going over areas twice and get a nice clean cut. The seat is amazing and love the foot deck lift. I also love not messing with a pin to set my cut height. Another thing that I loved was the 8-gallon fuel tank and having a fuel gauge, I can go all day and not have to worry about filling up. It has plenty of power with the Kawasaki engine and the 54” deck works well in tight areas, but also the open areas. I love that it came with the hitch already but did buy the foot pegs and floor mat for it and do like having those there. Another feature that is important to me, is how simple it is to get to the spindles and clean the deck off. Not having to mess with unscrewing the covers have been a blessing. The oil change was also amazing and enough room to get it done with no problem. The drain hose is perfect length and easy to put the new oil in without a funnel, by just lifting the seat up out of the way. One other thing that was a big factor for me was the warranty. John Deere’s warranty on these zero turns are the best out there in this price and class. Hustler had one zero turn that matched John Deere’s warranty. I am just very happy.

Product is an excellant mowing machine.

Purchased a z730m. Specifically wanted the kawasaki engine, and the 60" deck. Have used zero turn mowers in past but never owned one. Decided on this model for the reasons mentioned above. After several times mowing my 4 acres i was very happy with the ease of opetation, but not exactly pleased with cut quality. Reason being there are no rear scalp wheels on the deck. My acreage is by no means a golf course lawn but did not care for the scalp marks. So off to dealer had to order rear scalp wheel kit to install. Personally i feel these should be put on at factory.

My Z730M

I recent bought a Z730M with a 60 inch deck. I compared the ZTRAK 700 series mower against various company equivalent models and the JD ZTRAK M-series has everything. I needed speed, strength, durability, and agility with a clean cut. I was reluctant to buy a zero turn due to the cost, but for the value and durability of this mower, it was well worth the wait. It use to take 3 Hours to mow my yard and now I'm down to one. The mower discharges grass material without clumping , the grass is always cut level, the ride is smooth, and I enjoy mowing the yard again.

If your on the fence...do it!

I have 4 acres and the Z730M is a perfect fit. Very strong, fast and powerfull. Cut my mowing time down significantly. Our land has small mounds from gophers so can't go full speed (could get bucked off)....however if it was more smooth I would be able to go faster as there is no shortage of horsepower. The adjustable seat & foot area is great to really dial in comfort. The grass height knob is easy to use and can adjust on the fly. Easy to operate and fun! Highly recommended unit.

Commercial features without the commercial price tag

This mower is great for the person only mowing their yard and looking for a heavier built mower than the Z5 line up. I purchased mine with the 60” to replace a tired 757, and this mower did not disappoint. The Kawasaki engine is great, the seat is very comfortable, and I like the serviceable tranmissions with filters. All and all I’m extremely pleased with this mowe.

Commercial Quality at a Cheap Price

I got the Z730M last weekend, and spent 5 hours on it. Well built, engineered well, and thick steel. The 60" deck chews through the grass & shreds it. 24hp Kawasaki provided plenty of power. Comfort Glide Seat is Amazing! My old machine was a 1445 72" Diesel....I think the Z730M does the job quicker. Deere will sell a ton of these!
